Pakistan Successfully Launches Advanced Remote Sensing Satellite to Enhance Climate and Agriculture Monitoring

 



Pakistan successfully launched a remote sensing satellite from China’s Xichang centre, aimed at strengthening agricultural monitoring, disa_ster response, urban planning, and climate tracking.


Developed by SUPARCO in collaboration with China’s CETC and Microsat, the high-resolution satellite marks a milestone in Pakistan’s space ambitions. 


Officials, including Ishaq Dar and Ahsan Iqbal, praised China’s support and confirmed plans for future space missions, including a Pakistani astronaut in 2026 and a moon landing by 2035.
