The federal government has launched a major recruitment drive, opening more than 3,200 vacancies for entry-level police constables (BPS-07) within the Federal Constabulary. This opportunity—announced by the Ministry of Interior—welcomes applications from both men and women across all provinces, as well as Gilgit-Baltistan, Azad Jammu & Kashmir, and Islamabad .
Who Can Apply?
Age: Between 18 and 22 years
Education: Must have completed Intermediate (FA/FSc) or an equivalent qualification from a recognized board
Physical Requirements
Height: Minimum 5’6″ for males, 5’4″ for females
Chest (males only): 33–35 inches
Running Test:
Males: 1,600 meters within 7 minutes
Females: 1,600 meters within 9 minutes
Selection Process
Stage 1: Physical assessment (height, chest measurement, and timed run)
Stage 2: Written exam comprising multiple-choice questions
Stage 3: Interview and document verification
Officials have also confirmed minor updates to the recruitment procedures to ensure better fairness and transparency this year .

Punjab, Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan Each receives 20% (~646 posts per province)
Azad Jammu & Kashmir 10% (~323 posts)

Islamabad 4% (~129 posts)
