In a proud moment for Pakistan, young science enthusiasts brought home top honors from the 2nd International Nuclear Science Olympiad (INSO-2025) held in Malaysia. The Pakistani team clinched one Gold, one Silver, and two Bronze medals, showcasing their brilliance on a global platform.
The prestigious event, organized by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), took place from July 30 to August 5 and featured participants from 19 countries.
Muhammad Tayyab Bukhari led the team with a Gold medal, while Ammar Asad Warraich earned Silver for his impressive performance. Rawah Javed and Tatheer Aima Naqvi secured Bronze medals, adding further glory to Pakistan’s name.
The students were trained and guided by top experts from the Pakistan Institute of Engineering and Applied Sciences (PIEAS) and the Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission (PAEC)—institutions known for nurturing talent in nuclear and scientific fields.
Their achievement not only highlights Pakistan's emerging talent in nuclear science but also underscores the importance of investing in STEM education for the country’s future.
