Any Attack on One Is Attack on Both: Pakistan and Saudi Arabia Sign Defence Agreement.

 

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman have signed a landmark Strategic Mutual Defence Agreement in Riyadh. According to the joint declaration, any act of aggression against either country will be treated as an attack on both, highlighting the deep-rooted trust and solidarity between the two nations.


In a statement issued by the Prime Minister’s Office, the agreement was described as a reflection of the “shared commitment of Pakistan and Saudi Arabia to strengthen security cooperation and promote peace not only in the region but also across the globe.”


The statement further emphasized that this pact builds upon nearly eight decades of close partnership, underpinned by shared strategic interests and robust defence collaboration. Both countries reaffirmed their brotherly ties and mutual resolve to safeguard stability in the Muslim world and beyond.


This defence pact marks a new chapter in Pakistan–Saudi relations, reinforcing their long-standing alliance and commitment to collective security.
