NAB Recovers Record Rs547 Billion in First Half of 2025




 The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) reported record-breaking recoveries in the first six months of 2025, totaling Rs547 billion. Of this, Rs456 billion was recovered between April and June alone, according to The News.


Over the past two years, NAB has recovered assets worth Rs5,854.73 billion in movable and immovable properties, returning funds to 12,611 victims of fraud cases.


The bureau’s 2025 mid-year report reaffirms its commitment to combating corruption and safeguarding public funds, noting a 700% increase compared to recoveries since its inception.
