Expo City Dubai came alive in green and white as Pakistan’s 78th Independence Day was celebrated with unmatched enthusiasm and national pride. The grand event, organized by Emirates Loves Pakistan in collaboration with the Pakistan Association Dubai and supported by Dubai Police, drew people from all walks of life for a 12-hour cultural festival.
The day kicked off with a spectacular Parade of Unity, where more than 15 cultural and community groups proudly showcased Pakistan’s diverse provincial and traditional heritage. Visitors were treated to the sights, sounds, and flavors of Pakistan — from authentic traditional dishes and intricate handicrafts to soul-stirring Sufi music and lively folk dances.
The celebration also served as a testament to the enduring friendship between the UAE and Pakistan. Distinguished guests included Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan and Pakistan’s Ambassador to the UAE, Faisal Niaz Tirmizi, who both highlighted the strong bilateral ties between the two nations.
As the sun set, the atmosphere grew electric with anticipation for a live concert by acclaimed singer and music producer Sahir Ali Bagga, who delivered a powerful performance to close the night.
This Independence Day in Dubai wasn’t just a celebration — it was a vibrant reminder of unity, culture, and the shared bond between Pakistan and the UAE.
