PIA Launches New Direct Flight Service from Riyadh to Sialkot

Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has announced the launch of a new direct flight service connecting Riyadh and Sialkot, a move set to make travel faster and more convenient for thousands of passengers.

The route caters to an estimated 200,000 travelers each year, many of whom are Pakistani expatriates, business professionals, and frequent visitors. PIA says the service will not only improve air connectivity but also strengthen economic and cultural ties between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.

Airline representatives highlighted that the initiative responds to growing demand for seamless travel options between the two cities, offering passengers more flexibility and reducing transit times.

This development comes shortly after PIA operated special flights for Arbaeen pilgrims to Najaf, Iraq, earlier in August. Those flights were introduced following restrictions on overland travel to Iran and Iraq, further showcasing the airline’s commitment to meeting the needs of its passengers.

With this new Riyadh–Sialkot link, PIA continues to expand its network, making international travel more accessible for Pakistanis abroad and visitors heading to the country.
