Türkiye has officially suspended all trade activities with Israel, a move confirmed by Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan. The decision means Turkish ships will no longer be allowed to dock at Israeli ports, and Israeli aircraft will be denied access to Turkish airspace.
This step comes after Ankara had already imposed export restrictions in April, targeting more than 1,000 items across key industries such as construction, metals, and other vital sectors.
The suspension highlights Türkiye’s firm stance in response to ongoing regional tensions and adds a significant shift to global trade dynamics.
